Dear Friends, We guarantee June 1–4, 2027 will be a joyous, unforgettable celebration of kindred souls. • Welcome!
Welcome from your 50th reunion co-chairs, Joan Soble and Peter Lerangis. We’re already working to make this the event of a lifetime with the help of substantial donations from generous alums. We can rock the joint like never before and make it possible for everyone to attend. Dates: June 1-4, 2027! Please consider being there from Tuesday until Friday!  Our goals:
      • Joy. It’s that simple. To provide a place of welcome and community among old friends and kindred spirits.
      • Inclusion. No matter who you are, what stage of life you’re in, everyone is welcome – and will be able to come, due to our generous funding.*
      • Opportunity. Great food, entertainment, and dancing. Fantastic symposia and programming. Quiet moments to reconnect and share stories with friends.
      • Discovery: Time and again, we’re told how many new friendships emerge at reunions. “How did I not know you?” is a common refrain. We entered our class 1,600 strong. During our four years, we only scratched the surface of getting to know one another.
If you’ve been to other Get Back reunions, you know what great times they are. But if you haven’t been, or haven’t in a while, or think you’re too late, or too old, or too scared, this is our message:  Come. It will exhilarate you. Shed decades with renewed friendships. Share college memories and life stories. Engage with people who experienced a time that shaped us at a key moment in life. In 1973, we were brought together as kids. By 2027, we’ve been through a lot. And we need each other. *As for those funds! Our amazing donors, in addition to helping make this reunion unforgettable, plan to cover HAA reunion fees and some travel money. We’ll follow up with details of how they will be distributed to everyone. Here’s how you can help us get the word out:
      • Is your postal address up to date?
      • Do you have contact information for any of our 300 classmates for whom we have none?
To review your information and learn who’s missing, click here. Feel free to contact us with ideas and concerns at [email protected] and/or [email protected]. We’ll update you about registration and pre-reunion events and post them here on our on our HR77 class website.  All the best, 50th Reunion Co-Chairs Peter Lerangis and Joan Soble
    • Participation Stipend

Generous, anonymous fellow-classmate donors want all of us to be able to attend our 50th without financial strain. Consequently, they are providing a participation stipend to each classmate attendee and one guest, to be disbursed shortly after the reunion . You can expect to be reimbursed for

      ●       HAA Early Bird Program Fees — up to $600 per attendee and guest each for the full reunion package.

      ●       Travel and other expenses — a similar amount, or more, depending on how far the classmate attendee has travelled to reunion.

More specific details about receiving these funds will be forthcoming. Check this section periodically for the most recent information.
